Dulce
Plott hound/Malinois Mix
Gender: Female
Dulce, a four-year-old Plott/Mal mix, embodies the true meaning of resilience and adaptability, inspiring those around her with her remarkable behavior around dogs, myself, and veterinary staff, a testament to her exceptional character. She is crate-trained, housebroken, and exhibits outstanding behavior, unlocking her incredible potential. Dulce also travels well in vehicles, requiring only some initial coaxing and time to enter the car, which will become easier with experience, revealing her remarkable flexibility. She is great with kids, displaying her gentle and loving nature. She is great with cats and good with the kids, but not comfortable enough to leave her alone with any, and I’d say no small kids, as she needs careful and loving handling. I firmly believe she needs other dogs, as they bring her comfort, reassurance, and a sense of belonging. She warmed up fast here, and I didn’t really do anything, just let her come to me, and I think the other dogs make her feel safe, secure, and valued. Dulce’s capacity for growth, connection, and love is truly boundless. Dulce LOVES to play and wrestle with the other dogs, showcasing her vibrant and playful spirit, and she loves chasing them too, displaying her energetic, lively, and adventurous nature.
